Spiritual Growth for True Peak Performance

Dear {{ first_name }},

I am beyond excited to share a very special podcast episode with you today. This time, I had the honor of speaking with the amazing Faine Fitzgerald, a spiritual coach who has been a true anchor in my own journey.

Together, we explored a topic that is deeply close to my heart: how stepping out of our comfort zone connects to spirituality – and why this connection is essential to reach our Peak Flow.

The PeakFlow Method™ – and the Power of Spirit

In my PeakFlow Method™, I talk about the 4 pillars of achieving our inner peak:

  1. Mental strength
  2. Emotional strength
  3. Physical strength
  4. Spiritual strength.

While many people focus on mindset, strategy, or physical performance, spirituality is often the missing link.

Spirituality is not about religion. It’s about trust, presence, and connection to something bigger than ourselves. It helps us stay calm in times of uncertainty, reduce anxiety, and realign with our true purpose. Without it, we may achieve goals – but we rarely find deep fulfillment.

My English Channel Story – and Why Spirit Mattered Most

During my English Channel swim, I faced one of the hardest moments of my life. After 11 hours of non-stop swimming, I couldn’t breathe properly, panic took over, and I was ready to quit. My mind screamed, “Enough!” My body was exhausted, I had a flu, salt water burned my throat, and every breath felt unbearable.

At that moment, Faine, who was on my boat crew, felt my panic without me saying a word. She started to meditate – becoming an anchor for my own spirit. Through her presence, I reconnected with my faith, my deeper belief that I am more than my limits.

This was the turning point. I found the strength to continue for another 4 hours and finally completed the swim.

Without spiritual strength, I would have stopped – no matter how much training, strategy, or motivation I had.

Why We Suffer – and How Spiritual Growth Sets Us Free

In the podcast, Faine and I talk about:

  • Why so many of us feel anxious, restless, or unfulfilled
  • How spiritual practices reduce fear and help us live in alignment
  • Why stepping out of our comfort zone is key to personal growth and purpose
  • What happens when we stay “too comfortable” for too long
  • How leaders can use spirituality to overcome imposter syndrome, sleepless nights, and burnout

Why Knowing What to Do Isn’t Always Enough
Dear friends, We are already living outside our comfort zones. Change, uncertainty and constant pressure have become part of everyday life. The question is no longer simply: “How can I step outside my comfort zone?” The deeper question is: “How can I feel grounded in discomfort, navigate uncertainty and still access my inner Peak Flow?” Often, what stands between us and our next level is not a ...
The Arctic Didn't Test My Strength. It Tested My Trust.
Dear Friends, A few weeks ago, I stood at the edge of the Arctic Ocean, surrounded by glaciers, moments before stepping into 4°C water. People often ask me what the hardest part was. Was it the cold? The distance? The polar bears? None of them. The hardest part was letting go of control. As a mother, leaving my daughter safely on shore while I entered the Arctic Ocean was far more difficult tha...
Out of Comfort Zone: What the North Pole and AI Have in Common
Dear Friends, As I write this newsletter, I am preparing for one of the most ambitious adventures of my life: a record attempt at the North Pole this July. This is not just another swim. The Arctic Ocean is one of the most unforgiving environments on Earth. The water temperature will be around -1°C, with drifting sea ice, unpredictable weather, and a very real risk that most swimmers will neve...
